Vaishnav Temple of New York also known as Govardhannathji Haveli provides a worshiping platform for followers of PushtiBhaktiMarg - a tradition of love filled devotion for Lord Sri Krishna.

PushtiBhaktiMarg tradition was advocated by Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji - a 16 th century spiritual guru & scholar of Hinduism.

The main deity at Vaishnav Temple of New York is Lord Govardhannathji. Lord Sri Krishna came to known as Lord Govardhan when he lifted the Govardhan hill to protect the yadava community from the rain god Varuna.
